We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. This policy outlines your rights and our procedures for returns and refunds.
1. Your Statutory Rights (UK Customers)
Under UK law, you have the following rights:
- 14-day cooling-off period: You may cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your item for any reason (Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013)
- Faulty or misdescribed goods: You're entitled to a refund, repair, or replacement if goods are faulty or not as described (Consumer Rights Act 2015)
- 30-day short-term right to reject: If goods are faulty, you can reject them for a full refund within 30 days of receipt
Important: This policy does not affect your statutory rights. Where this policy conflicts with UK law, UK law takes precedence.
2. Returns Window
- Change of mind: 14 days from delivery date
- Faulty/damaged/incorrect items: 30 days from delivery date
To be eligible for a change-of-mind return, items must be in their original condition with all tags and packaging intact. You may open the packaging and handle the goods to the extent necessary to establish their nature, characteristics, and functioning, as you would in a shop.
3. Non-Returnable Items
The following cannot be returned for hygiene or safety reasons under change-of-mind returns:
- Personalised or custom-made products
- Perishable goods
- Intimate or sanitary items
- Clearance items (change-of-mind returns may be excluded where stated)
Important: Your statutory rights for faulty, damaged, or misdescribed goods are not affected by the above exclusions. If any of these items are faulty or not as described, you retain your full legal rights to a refund, repair, or replacement.
4. Return Shipping Costs
- Faulty, damaged, or incorrect items: We cover return shipping
- Change of mind: Customer covers return shipping costs
- Refused delivery or incorrect address: Customer covers all shipping costs
5. How to Initiate a Return

Please include:
- Order number
- Reason for return
- Photos/video evidence (if item is faulty or damaged)
We'll provide return instructions and, where applicable, a return label.
Important: Returns must be sent to the address provided upon return authorization. We do not accept returns sent without prior authorization.
6. Return Address
As we use third-party fulfilment partners, return addresses vary by product. Always contact us at info@gadgyo.com for return authorization and the correct return address before shipping any item back.
Do not return items without prior authorization, as we cannot guarantee processing of unauthorized returns.
7. Refund Processing
Once we receive and inspect your return:
- Processing time: Refunds processed within 5-10 business days
- Method: Refunded to original payment method
- Bank processing: Allow 5-10 additional business days for funds to appear in your account (depends on your payment provider)
Total timeframe: In most cases, refunds appear sooner; however, in some cases it may take up to 20 business days from when we receive your return until funds appear in your account.
Partial refunds: Refund deductions may apply if the item shows signs of use, damage, or missing components beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the goods.
8. Exchanges
We offer exchanges for faulty, damaged, or incorrect items subject to stock availability. For change-of-mind exchanges, customer covers return shipping.

9. Delivery Issues
Lost or stolen packages
Under UK law, the risk of loss or damage to goods passes to you when you, or a third party designated by you, takes physical possession of the goods. If tracking shows delivery but you didn't receive your package, we will assist you in investigating the matter with the carrier. Where an item is confirmed lost in transit, we will offer a replacement or a full refund.
If tracking shows delivery but you didn't receive your package:
- Check with neighbours or building reception
- Verify the delivery address on your order confirmation
- Contact us at info@gadgyo.com and we'll initiate a carrier investigation
- File a report with local authorities if you suspect theft
Incorrect shipping details
If your package is returned to sender due to an incorrect or incomplete address provided at checkout, you'll be responsible for reshipping costs.
Unclaimed packages
Packages returned to sender due to non-collection or failed delivery attempts are subject to reshipping fees if you wish to have the order resent.
10. Damaged or Faulty Items
If you receive a damaged or faulty item:
- Contact us at info@gadgyo.com as soon as reasonably possible after delivery
- Provide clear photos or video evidence of the damage or defect
- We'll arrange a replacement or full refund (including original shipping costs)
For faulty items, we cover all return shipping costs. Your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 are not affected by any timeframes mentioned in this policy.
11. Shipping & Delivery Times
Estimated delivery time: 7-14 business days depending on the product and fulfilment location.
Orders are typically processed within 1-3 business days after payment confirmation.
GADGYO uses trusted third-party fulfilment partners to process and ship orders efficiently. Products may be dispatched from international distribution centres (including locations outside the UK) depending on product availability and stock location.
Important: Some items in the same order may arrive separately if fulfilled from different locations.
12. International Shipping & Customs
Products may be dispatched from international fulfilment centres depending on stock availability. VAT or customs duties are not typically charged at checkout. If applicable, they will be shown before payment.
In rare cases, UK customs authorities may apply duties or import fees at the point of entry. While uncommon for low-value goods, any such charges are the responsibility of the customer and must be paid to the carrier or customs authority before delivery can be completed. GADGYO is not responsible for customs delays or any import charges levied by customs authorities.
Delivery times are estimates and may be affected by customs clearance, carrier operations, or other factors beyond our control. We will notify you of any significant delays where possible.
