Thank you for shopping with GADGYO. This Shipping Policy explains how we handle the dispatch, delivery, and fulfilment of your orders. Please read this policy carefully before placing an order.

1. Order Processing Time

Once your order is placed and payment is confirmed, we begin processing your order. Processing times may vary depending on product availability and order volume.

  • Standard processing time: 1-3 business days
  • Peak periods (e.g., sales events, holidays): Processing may take up to 5-7 business days

You will receive an order confirmation email immediately after placing your order. Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking information (where available).

Important: Processing times do not include shipping times. Delivery timeframes begin once the order has been dispatched.

2. Shipping Methods and Delivery Times

We currently ship exclusively to addresses within the United Kingdom (England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland).

2.1 Standard Shipping (UK)

  • Estimated delivery time: 7-14 business days after dispatch
  • Tracking: Tracking information provided where available
  • Cost: Calculated at checkout based on order value and destination

3. Shipping Costs

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on:

  • Order weight and dimensions
  • Delivery destination
  • Selected shipping method

Free shipping promotions: We may offer free shipping on orders over a certain value or during promotional periods. Terms and conditions will be displayed at checkout.

4. Order Tracking

Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a shipping confirmation email containing:

  • Your order number
  • Tracking number (where available)
  • Carrier information
  • Estimated delivery date

You can track your order by:

  • Clicking the tracking link in your shipping confirmation email
  • Visiting our Track Your Order page and entering your tracking number
  • Contacting the carrier directly using your tracking number

Please note: Tracking information may take 24-48 hours to update after dispatch. Not all carriers provide real-time tracking updates.

5. Delivery

5.1 Delivery Attempts

Our carriers will attempt to deliver your package to the address provided at checkout. If no one is available to receive the package:

  • The carrier may leave the package in a safe location (if instructed)
  • A delivery notice may be left with instructions for redelivery or collection
  • The package may be held at a local depot or post office for collection

Please check with your carrier for their specific delivery procedures.

5.2 Signature Requirements

Some shipments may require a signature upon delivery. If you will not be available to sign, you may:

  • Arrange for someone else to sign on your behalf
  • Contact the carrier to arrange redelivery or collection from a local depot
  • Provide delivery instructions to the carrier (where available)

6. Delayed, Lost, or Missing Packages

6.1 Delayed Packages

If your package has not arrived within the estimated delivery timeframe, please:

  1. Check your tracking information for updates
  2. Contact the carrier directly using your tracking number
  3. Contact us at info@gadgyo.com if the delay exceeds 10 business days beyond the estimated delivery date

When contacting us, please provide:

  • Your order number
  • Tracking information (if available)
  • Delivery address

We will investigate and work with the carrier and fulfilment partner to locate your package and find a resolution, which may include a replacement or refund where appropriate.

6.2 Lost or Stolen Packages

If tracking shows delivery but you did not receive your package, please contact us and we will assist with an investigation with the carrier.

Steps to take:

  • Check with neighbours or building reception
  • Verify the delivery address on your order confirmation
  • Contact the carrier directly using your tracking number
  • Contact us at info@gadgyo.com and we'll initiate a carrier investigation
  • File a report with local authorities if you suspect theft

Where an item is confirmed lost in transit, we will offer a replacement or a full refund.

7. Incorrect or Incomplete Shipping Information

Customers are responsible for providing accurate and complete shipping details at checkout, including:

  • Full recipient name
  • Complete street address (including flat/apartment/unit number where applicable)
  • City, county, and postcode
  • Contact phone number

We are not responsible for orders delivered to incorrect, incomplete, or undeliverable addresses provided by the customer.

Returned packages due to incorrect address: If a package is returned to sender due to an incorrect or incomplete address, you will be responsible for reshipping costs. Please contact us to arrange reshipment.

8. Failed Delivery Attempts

If the carrier is unable to deliver your package due to:

  • No one available to receive the package
  • Refusal to accept delivery
  • Refusal to pay customs/import charges
  • Inaccessible delivery location

The package may be:

  • Returned to sender
  • Held at a local depot or post office for collection

Additional fees may apply for redelivery or storage. Please contact the carrier directly using your tracking information to arrange redelivery or collection.

Unclaimed packages: Packages returned to sender due to non-collection will be subject to reshipping fees if you wish to have the order resent.

9. Order Cancellations Before Dispatch

If you wish to cancel your order, please contact us immediately at info@gadgyo.com with your order number.

We will do our best to cancel your order if it has not yet been dispatched to our fulfilment partner or carrier.

Important: Once an order has been handed to our fulfilment partner or carrier, cancellation may not be possible. If the order has already shipped, you may return it in accordance with our Return & Refund Policy.

10. Changes to Shipping Address

Once an order has been placed, we cannot guarantee that shipping address changes can be accommodated.

If you need to change your delivery address, contact us immediately at info@gadgyo.com. We will attempt to update the address if the order has not yet been dispatched, but we cannot guarantee this will be possible.

We are not responsible for orders delivered to the original address if you did not notify us of the change before dispatch.

11. Your Statutory Rights (UK Customers)

Under UK consumer protection law, you have the following rights:

  • Consumer Rights Act 2015: Goods must be as described, fit for purpose, and of satisfactory quality
  • Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013: 14-day cooling-off period for distance sales (online purchases)
  • Delivery timeframes: If we don't specify a delivery time at the point of sale, goods must arrive within 30 days of your order
  • Right to cancel: If delivery is significantly delayed, you have the right to cancel your order and receive a full refund
